Occupational Therapy
That Comes To You...
It can be hard to drive around town to access all of the services your child may need, so we come to your student! Our services are available during the school day on campus and in after school programs.
We offer comprehensive Occupational Therapy services to meet the unique needs of your child. Customized individual sessions are provided at school because we know first hand that parents and kids are busier than ever. Our mission is to help decrease over-scheduling and give you more free time. Plus, being in your child's school allows us to see exactly what is needed and work directly with the staff to support your child consistently. Our approach to OT is to use the combination of many years as a school-based Occupational Therapist and our own parenting experience to help each student shine.

Testing
Our informal assessments are designed to provide an understanding of your child's functional abilities in order to create a tailored treatment plan. This includes parent and teacher interviews, observations across school tasks, and informal skills testing. Standardized assessments can be administered if needed. However, in most cases informal testing gives us the information we need and helps us dive into intervention much more quickly.

What We Offer
Intervention
If your school does not offer Occupational Therapy services, we can work together with your school to see if they would allow an outside service provider to work with your student on campus. We are licensed and insured both in practice and general liability to be on campuses. You then hire us directly to have your student's OT session at school during an agreed upon and convenient part of your student's school day.
Collaboration
We understand the importance of collaboration between OT and the student, family, and school. We strive to provide a holistic approach to OT by working closely with the student's teachers to ensure that the skills learned in therapy transfer to the classroom. We are committed to showing staff how to use functional tools to help the student succeed in the classroom. We believe that every student has the potential to reach their goals with the right supports.
Screening
We offer free screenings at your school including Preschool, Kindergarten and 1-2 Grade classrooms. If you have been wondering how your student's development is unfolding, this is a great option to see how they are progressing. If the screening indicates an area of need, we can discuss next steps.
Training
Our services include school training courses for teachers/staff or at family education seminars. These trainings provide information on how to support young learners with fine motor and handwriting development. Our aim is to eliminate the need for intervention later by helping school staff support children early in their development.
